Cultural encounter

After two days of being in Malaysia I must say that all my expectations have been blown away by the multiplicity of cultural expressions that this country has; starting with the language (that is very different that our beloved Spanish , passing to the food, the religions, the dress code, the etiquette, everything seems to be very different that in Colombia, but unlike Colombia, I’m getting the sense that this mixture of cultures is what give Malaysia it’s richness and depth; people from all places, cultures and religions live in peace and work with each other as a unit, regardless of beliefs and misconceptions  I would like to see that kind of unity someday in my country, because it would allow us to be even bigger than we are today. So much to think and to appreciate; for now I’m just more than happy to be part of this experience that is just starting, and if this is just the beginning I can´t even imagine of what is yet to come….
